"The Haunted House"

One day I was walking down a real spooky rode and I saw this old spooky house the old sidewalk was overgrowen with weeds and was hard to walk up but I made it to the house and went threw the doorway it was real dirty and it looked like it had not bin cleaned in twenty five years and the furniture was old and worn and all of a sudden I saw something it was a ghost and know what, my hair turned pure white I was real scared I ran up the stairs I found my self in a little bedroom in the bed was a it was well I can not tell you cause I do not know but I ran out of the room the thing chased me out of the room I jumped for the chandelier I mist I screemed outloud I fell on my rear and said ouch the thing was hanging on the chandelier he droped, a few feet a way he got up I got up to I ran he ran to. he reach for me and mist and got mad we ran around the room I jumped in the broken tv he did not see me I jumped out of the tv he ran affer me I ran up the stairs and turned around and saw there were two chasing me I turned back around I ran some more one amost caught me but I dodged he did not get me and sliped off the third flor and died now only one left.

I ran a little bit more then we came too the end of the hall I jumped for the chandelier this time I caught it I was hanging there thinking what I should do next I forgot about hanging on and let go I fell from the third flor and landed on a couch safely I all most fainted but I did not I saw the thing jump for the chandelier I got up and ran as soon as I was a few feet away we ran around the room I jumped behind a big mirror when he looked at it, it broke I thawt that was funny, but their was no time to laugh I started to run I ran out the door. if you want your hair bleached you where I went.

NOTE: This story was written on the back pages of an old calendar that was given to my by my Grandparents to write on. The calendar is from 1971. The story being in printed letters would mean I wrote it in the second grade. The last four lines were in cursive, suggesting I added a quick ending to the story a year or two later...once I learned to use cursive handwriting.
